Description:
Cold Sores Begone is a topical get that eliminates - guess what - cold sores. Lemon balm has strong activity against both types of herpes virus and this product can be used anywhere on the body except around the eyes. It is commonly used in Europe where application 2 to 4 times daily shortens the duration and intensity of cold sores, fever blisters and genital herpes attacks. When used at the first sign of an attack it will usually abort the attack all together. This product is also effective on canker sores.
Ingredients:
Allantoin 0.5%, Herbal Extracts of Lemon Balm (Melissa,) Echinacea, and Golden Seal Root.
Additional Ingredients:
Vegetable Glycerin, Deionized Water, Aloe Vera Gel, Methylparaben, and Natural Mint Flavor.
Dosage:
Apply immediately when and where the first symptoms (a tingly, numb, itching or prickly sensation) occurs. If first symptom continues 10-15 minutes after application, re-apply. If the eruption has already developed and is in the early stages, apply immediately and several times a day until the sore is healed. If sores tend to erupt while sleeping, use routinely at bedtime.
Cautions:
Do not refrigerate or allow to become hot. If sores persist for more than 7 days, see a doctor. Do not use around the eyes.
